Why is the name of our school
the Barnstable Horace Mann
Charter School?

Using
The Internet in Education |
|
|

Our charter school was developed
using the Modern Red Schoolhouse design,
a comprehensive whole school model created by New American Schools.
Visit the Massachusetts
Department of Education Charter School web site for more
information concerning charter schools.
Our school is a two year school serving all fourth and fifth
graders in the Town of Barnstable with innovative learning and
assessments. We strive to develop a working partnership with
students, teachers, parents, and the community, and we are committed
to excellence, high academic standards, the development of moral
character, and civic responsibility.
Our environment is an exciting, challenging, and rewarding place
to be for the entire lifelong community of learners. It is a
place to not only create understanding, but also to create the
paradigms of the future.
The
three keys to success at the Barnstable Horace Mann Charter
School...
- Do your homework
each and every night
- Do the best you
can in your classwork- make it work you are proud to turn
in
- Treat others with
respect - show tolerance for everybody
